Hosting an event such as the 2022 NCAA® Final Four requires a deep lineup of dedicated, friendly volunteers. NCAA Final Four volunteers are the first and often most important touchpoint for visitors. While volunteers are not needed inside the game venue, they ensure off-court events run smoothly and help New Orleans make a great impression on hundreds of thousands of visitors.

The NCAA and the New Orleans Local Organizing Committee estimate a need for approximately 4,000 volunteers to successfully host the 2022 NCAA Final Four and events. Volunteers must be able to commit to three (3), four-hour shifts between April 1-4, 2022.

As planning continues surrounding the April events, volunteer opportunities will be announced at a later date. If you are interested in receiving the most up-to-date information on volunteer opportunities, it is highly recommended to register below.

Sixth Man Squad

Sometimes things come up and volunteers are unable to complete a shift they sign up for, this is where you come in. You will need to be ready to go at a moments notice, our Sixth Man Squad will need to be familiar with all the different volunteer roles and be willing to fill in wherever needed. This group of volunteers will serve as alternates for Fan Fest, Information Centers, March Madness Music Fest, New Orleans Street Team and the Volunteer HQ. Volunteer HQ

The Volunteer Headquarters will be the central hub of all volunteer activity. This is where most of the volunteers will check in for their shift, meet with their Point Guards and deploy to their location. The Volunteer HQ will also be the home to the volunteer hotline and Sixth Man Squad.
